When Christians don't use their voice, others without Biblical values fill the space

Elections determine outcomes of critical policies. Did you know that every Arizona election was determined by less than 20,000 votes ?

WHY IT MATTERS The Bible makes it clear that God cares how societies are governed because laws directly shape families, schools, churches, and future generations. Whether we like it or not, the USA also guides world politics and so our involvement there is vital.

SALT & LIGHT When Christians withdraw from civic life, other voices fill the space — voices that often do not reflect biblical values. Silence is not neutral; it is agreement. God calls His people to be salt that preserves what is good and light that reveals truth.

Why Christians Need to Vote

Christian voters have the ability to sway nearly every election at every level. We MUST register to vote and actually particpate if we want to see results.

There are many reasons to vote - here are a few : (click to expand)

1Church and Politics Do Not Mix.
FALSE. The Bible is HIGHLY political. Politics and Christianity are inextricably connected.

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

There are numerous instances of political references in The Bible , too many to mention here. To ignore politics however, is to abdicate any influence we as Christians have within our own governments.

It is our contention that it is the duty and responsibility of every Christian to vote and to vote for leaders who promote Christian principles. God is most certainly in control, but that does not mean we should do nothing to further His will. We are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4). In terms of politics and leadership, there is evidence in Scripture that God has been displeased with our choices of leadership at times (Hosea 8:4). The evidence of sin’s grip on this world is everywhere. Much of the suffering on earth is because of godless leadership (Proverbs 28:12). Scripture gives Christians instructions to obey legitimate authority unless it contradicts the Lord’s commands (Acts 5:27-29; Romans 13:1-7). As born-again believers, we ought to strive to choose leaders who will be themselves led by our Creator (1 Samuel 12:13-25). Candidates or proposals that violate the Bible’s commands for life, family, marriage, or faith should never be supported (Proverbs 14:34). Christians should vote as led through prayer and study of both God’s Word and the realities of the choices on the ballot.

Christians in many countries in this world are oppressed and persecuted. They suffer under governments that they are powerless to change and governments that hate their faith and silence their voices. These believers preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at the risk of their own lives. In the USA, Christians have been blessed with the right to speak about and choose their leaders without fearing for themselves or their families. In the USA, in recent elections, about 2 of every 5 of self-professed Christians took that right for granted and did not vote. About 1 in 5 self-professed, eligible Christians are not even registered to vote.

In our day and age, there are many who want to drive the name and message of Christ completely out of the public arena. Voting is an opportunity to promote, protect, and preserve godly government. Passing up that opportunity means letting those who would denigrate the name of Christ have their way in our lives. The leaders we elect—or do nothing to remove—have great influence on our freedoms. They can choose to protect our first amendment right to religious freedom and the right to spread the gospel, or they can restrict those rights. They can lead our nation toward righteousness or toward moral disaster. As Christians, we should stand up and follow our command to fulfill our civic duties (Matthew 22:21).

2Your vote counts, it makes a difference and it is critical to our nation's future.
Why bother to vote - my vote does not matter. We hear this a lot.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Your vote does count, in fact the majority of the last elections were determined by a small percentage and number of votes. There are more than 7 million people in Arizona, yet Hobbs won by a mere 17,000 votes. Two churches full of Christians could have changed that. Due to that loss, Hobbs has exploded the Marxist / Leftist agenda in Arizona - expanding abortion, LGBTQ+ policies, teachers unions, DEI and other programs while significantly restricting or vetoing conservative efforts.

3America’s founding principes were deeply influenced by Scripture.
Many of our founders were devout Christians who believed in the divinity of Jesus.

The vision for limited government, individual responsibility, and freedom under God was intentionally designed to guard against human tyranny. As John Adams warned, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Understanding these biblical roots helps Christians be faithful both as believers and as citizens. We bless our communities—both believers and nonbelievers — when we engage culture rather than retreat from it.

Separation of church and state is a misnomer.

The exact words do not appear in the U.S. Constitution. The phrase "wall of separation between Church & State" was coined by Thomas Jefferson in an 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association. The phrase was meant to prevent government from controlling the Church, not to silence Christians in public life. Our nation relies on morally grounded, biblically formed citizens to maintain liberty.

4When you don't vote you are STILL voting !
50% of Christians do not vote. By doing so we are abdicating responsibility.

When Christians don't show up to vote, they are abdicating their civic duty and responsibility of preserving founding values. By not voting, we leave the critical decisions to others who do not share our values. By not showing up to vote you simply hand over your influence to leftist voters who do not support biblical values - or the country as it was founded. Is this really what you want ? If that answer is no then you MUST vote !

5Apathy is what kills nations !
The nazis took over Germany with less than 10% of support of Germans - How did that happen ? Apathy !

We are called as Christians to get involved in our governments, not to just stand by and let things happen as they may. When citizens sit around uninvolved it is how we ended up with leaders like Joe Biden. It is also how we ended up with abortion, woke policies, critical race theory, DEI, and rainbow flags on the White House. WE. NEED. TO. VOTE. Watch this powerful video on just how dangerous apathy is to a society. How to Kill 11 Million People You may be required to verify your age - please do - it is a very valuable lesson in history we DO NOT want to repeat.

6Cultural Marxism and Islam is being allowed to spread
Entire cities are being allowed to be run by Islamists and Marxists - how does this happen?

Again, it comes down to apathy. When voters sit on the sidelines, those with louder voices always win. Islam is not a religion of peace - it is one with a plan to dominate and supplant Western values especially Christianity. Their entire plan is to flood the West with immigrants and take over their elections - does that sound like anything that is happening now ? We have seen this all across Europe and it is starting here.

One cannot call themselves Christian and vote for a party or candidate that openly breaks God's law.

Sadly, one party has become more extreme - increasingly leftist / Marxist in nature and is primarily populated with athiests and apostates. Is it a surprise then, that so many Pagan beliefs are embraced by them. Abortion, LGBTQ+, Gender Confusion, DEI, dissolution of the family, open borders, new world order , ALL have ties back to the demonic Biblical times of Babylon, Sodom and Gomorrah when Baal and Ashtoreth were worshipped instead of God. We should be doing our homework and NOT voting for any candidate that supports these ideologies.

7There are many eligible Christian civic leaders.
Prior to the Trump presidency, when was the last time you saw our civic leaders quote bible verses or pray ?

We are seeing more and more leaders stepping up and bringing biblical principles and even bible reading and prayer into the halls of congress - at the state and federal level. These are good leaders and they NEED YOUR VOTE to stay in office. Eli Crane, Wendy Rogers are two in Arizona, JD Vance, Mike Johnson, Josh Hawley, Wesley Hunt there are many more. It is imperative we show up and get or keep these leaders elected.

America was a blessed nation, one of kind. She is worth preserving.

The question is WILL YOU STEP UP TO DO IT. All Christians should vote, and we should be voting solely on the values of the party or candidate that support Christian values. We have to remember we are not voting for a person or even a party - we are voting for whoever comes closer to preserving Christian values and the country as it was founded. Here is an amazing history of America - brought to you by one of the best conservative Christian colleges in the USA. Enjoy ! Watch The Story of America
